Fortunately this isn't very difficult in principle, as you only need to change some numbers. So you'll have to edit the mentioned XML file by hand. I know that a learning curve is to be expected until I'm familiar with the FG keyboard control layout, but I think it would be awesome if somehow I can remap the FlightGear control keys with those used in MS Flight Simulator. Well, I've got FG up and running now, however, due to the numerous years of simming with MS Flight Simulator, I end up pressing the MS Flight simulator keys at crucial moments in FG which results in an all mighty crash or a very ugly and ungraceful landing maneuver.
